What happens when you try? What type of account are you trying to create
(POP, HTML, IMAP)?

Does hotmail UK offer HTTP (WebDAV), POP3 or both?

I am unsure as to whether or not hotmail.co.uk email addresses offer the
http:// or pop3 access. but .....

When a "hotmail.com" address is added is auto file the server URL line in.
but with the "hotmail.co.uk" address it leave this blank.

Could some one please shed some light on this query for those of us out
there that would prefer to use outlook instead of the web based version.

Thanks

if it leaves it blank, then it probably doesn't support http access. The
programs listed at
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/services/online.htm#hotmail may allow access
to hotmail via outlook.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, Jamie Wright asked:

| Did anyone manage to clear this up?
|
| I am trying to add my hotmail.co.uk account to my outlook account and
| it doesn't work ..
|
| Is there a way the account can be added?
|
| Many thanks
