Today is Thursday 7/27/06. I just entered a Task and gave it a Start date of
8/1/06 and a Due date of 8/3/06.
If I go into Calendar and tell it to also show me TaskPad (View - TaskPad)
and tell it to show the TaskPad's next seven days of items (View -TaskPad
View - Show Tasks for Next Seven Days) the Task shows up.
If I go to Tasks and select Simple or Detailed view the Task also shows up.
But if, still in Tasks, I select "Next Seven Days" it does NOT show up.
What's going with that?
Thanks!
Jay
Today is 7/27/06, in the afternoon. I just entered a new Task, giving it a
Start date and a due date of Today -- 7/27/06. But when I went into Tasks and
chose to show Active it did two things that were really weird:
1. It did not show the Task I had just today that has Start and Due dates of
today.
2. It did show the Task that I set yesterday that has a Start date of 8/1/06
and a Due date of 8/3/06 (it's Reminder is also 8/3/06). (Note that when I
choose to show Next Seven Days this one fails to show up, which it seems it
should do.)
Note that I’m quite tech-literate and I can’t see anything I’m doing that
could complicate things. The only thing I’m doing besides the simple settings
I’ve described is to also choose Categories of Business and Personal. The
rest is all plain vanilla default settings.
Please help me understand what's what here. I have a business to run.
Thanks.

Is this just an area that's buggy and that shouldn't be relied upon to
function with 100% accuracy? If so I really need to know. If not, what could
be going wrong?
I appreciate the help. Thanks.
Jay
1. Next Seven Days is really today and the next six days, so 8/3/06 was no
included.
2. TaskPad in Calendar defines and treats Views very differently than Tasks
does.
3. Active shows everything but Deferred so I'll "assume" I accidentally had
that selected as the reason why a Due date of today didn't show in Active (I
"hope").
