I'm trying to get all my contacts into another program that only accepts
vcards. While I know that I can save individual contacts as vcf, how do I
save all my contacts at one time into a vcf file?

You will need a 3rd party utility - several available by searching google

You can use vCard Export Import tool for importing vcf file easily without any interruption. This tool allows you to export your all contacts a VCF file instantly. I hope this tool proved a fully workable solution for you.
