I am using RIM Blackberry and do not want to receive the 30 or so SPAM
emails a day that my desktop receives. I thought I could set up a filter to
forward emails to the Blackberry if the address is in my address book. Is
there a way to entering this filter?

The Blackberry desktop software has its own filter built-in which is pretty
good. Have you checked there?

There is not a filter within the Blackberry Desktop Software. The
Blackberry Web Client does have filtering but does not have my contacts list
(I do not want to keep two in sync).

What I really want is a filter that would send email to the Blackberry but
only if the sender is currently in my contacts/address book.

Not in Outlook 2000 unless you want to add all your add4resses to a rule.
