How do I import multiple .vcf cards into outlook?

I have about 1500 contacts currently in Outlook 2003, but I am forced to use
Groupwise at my new company. I can probably get the Outlook contacts into
Groupwise pretty easily, but my problem is figuring out how to get these (and
any new contacts I make in the coming years) back out of Groupwise and back
into Outlook. I am assuming this will be relevant in the future sometime
because no one else I know uses Groupwise. Most companies use Outlook.

Groupwise will export in a .vcf format, but outlook will only import one
contact at a time. I have exported about 30 contacts from Groupwise into a
vcf file, but Outlook only appears to import one contact at a time. I will
have to export one file for each contact when I go back from Groupwise to
Outlook. I don't want to be exporting these one by one a year or more from
now (when that number of contacts will grow much larger).

Please help.

Have a look at what other ways GroupWise will export and compare to the
various ways Outlook will import. Be careful about first name and last name
fields. Use them rather than the single File As field as I have seen large
companies put each of those data fields in the wrong spot. A nice mess!

In terms of multi-contact VCF support, you'd need a 3rd party product. Two
possibilities that may

I have a similaer issue. I am trying to transfer my email address book from
Groupwise into outlook. I have not been able to get the *.vcf file to work.
Were you able to figure out how to do this?

.vcf file that has multiple entries in it? Say it isn't so! I have
experienced the same issue. I've exported a .vcf file from Lotus Notes at
work and tried to load into my home Outlook Contacts. It looks ike it's
processing only the 1st entry of many on the file when I try to Import the
.vcf file into Outlook. Why woudl we have to buy a 3rd party product; Outlook
ought to be intelligent enough to process the whole file that the Import is
pointed to. Help me understand please.

In terms of VCF's - Outlook only handles one contact per VCF (the
import/export process has changed much, if at all, since the release of
Outlook '2000, if not earlier). The third party products mentioned in the
previous response address the need of importing multiple contacts in one VCF
file. The alternative is to export contacts in another format that Outlook
supports such as CSV making the VCF issue moot.

As a general comment, regardless of the program, be it Outlook or any other,
there are always things that someone thinks a program "should or shouldn't
do" which can be at complete odds with what someone else thinks it "should
or shouldn't do".

Import the VCF in your Windows Address Book and then run import, import internet mail and addresses from outlook, select Outlook Express 4.x, 5.x, 6x or Windows Mail, Select import address book and click next, finish
