I am running into a very irregular problem that I am not sure how to
handle at this time. We have a contact manager (Maximizer) that we are
going to import into Outlook 2000. The problem that we run into is that
we want to keep this contact list centralized (on the server). Our
salesmen and consultants laptops need to be able to get a copy of these
contacts so that when they take their laptops off the LAN that they are
able to use these contacts until they come back and connect again. Now
the question is....should we install Exchange Server on our server and
store these contacts there? Right now we have a DSL connection and the
mail is on there server, but we want this ability to centrally store
contacts without having to use the NET FOLDERS option in Outlook?

Any Suggestions?

Thanks
Bob

Your choices are basically Net Folders, Exchange Server or an LDAP server.
