I have recently given a PC on my network an upgrade from Win '98 to Win
2000. Everything is working out fine except for one small detail. The new
PC is running Outlook 2000 just like the old one but on the Win 2000 PC the
auto resolution is not fuctioning fully. Whenever a partial name is typed
in the "To" field of a new e-mail outlook will auto resolve the name from
the contacts list only. On the old PC Outlook would auto resolve from all
lists, the most important one being the "Global Address List" for
interoffice e-mail.

Any ideas on why this has changed? Any suggestions how to get this back?

Thanks in advance;

Ian Francis

Check Tools | Services | Addressing. That's where the name resolution
settings are.
