Mass update of contact category name

I have 1000 contacts classified using the "Producer" category label. How can
I change that label into let' say "Distributor"?

Use a view grouped by category then change one contact to use the
Distributor label then drag/drop the header for the Producer category over
the Distributor header and it should perform a mass change

For categories that doesn't work, Vince. It would add the new category to
the items, but it wouldn't remove the old category.
Pierre, you need to select all of the items, right click, choose Categorize,
then tick the new and untick the old category.
