We currently have our sales forecast in MS Excel where each forecasted sale
to a customer is included and totalled at the bottom. There are never more
than a 100 sales cases at one time.

However, we enjoy working, customizing on an individual level, and sorting
in Outlook Contacts better. Is there a way we can have each sales case
entered as an item, and then total all forecasted sum in a customized view?

Views in Outlook total. You could use something like Seagate Analysis to
