No, you can use Outlook with your existing ISP accounts, of course you
will not be able to ue some of its features without access to
Exchange.

Can anyone explain how to use Oulook97 without Exchange?

I went and double click "Mail and Fax" from Control Panel.
Click "Show Profiles", Mail and Fax window open.
Click Add. Microsoft Exchange Setup Wizard window open.
There are two choices Microsoft Mail and Internet Mail.
Can I select both? What is the difference MS Mail and Internet Mail?
BTW, I should do this step since I do not have Exchange.
Do I need to install Exchange server to use Outlook 97?

The answer to the question is based on which type of mail you use. It sounds
like you should probably choose Internet Mail.

You don't need Exchange to use Outlook...
