if autoarchive is not enabled in tools, options, something else deleted
them. In this case, you need a backup file to recover them.

If it is enabled, what properties are set on the calendar folder? close the
tools, options dialog and go to the calendar navigation pane to find your
calendar folder. Right click on the calendar that is missing the
appointments and open properties. What are the settings on the autoarchive
tab?

I got to the Calendar Properties, AutoArchive tab, and the radial button is
checked that says "Archive items in this folder using the default settings."
At the bottom of this little window it says "The network administrator has
not set retention policies." Is that relevant to my problem?
If the calendar has been archived can I get the old information back?
