Installing agents through a Firewall

I have asked my ISA and Network Firewall admins to open 5723(TCP) from
potential agent to an SCOM Gateway yet the install is still resulting in the
following messages in the Event Log on the agent
"The OpsMgr Connector could not connect to ussbyscom304:5723. The error code
is 11001L(No such host is known.
). Please verify there is network connectivity, the server is running and
has registered it's listening port, and there are no firewalls blocking
traffic to the destination."
We are able to ping by hostname from the agent. I don't see any other port
requirements.

Are the Agents in the same domain as the Gatewayserver ?
If not, you will need certificates.

That was it. The Sys Admin had given me the wrong domain info so I had given
them the wrong gateway info. Thanks
