I am trying to intall operations manager 2007 (with SP1). I have gone
through and made sure all of the prerequisite software has been installed.
The prerequisite checker states that everything is good with the exception
that my memory (RAM) isn't atleast 2 gigs. When I install, i receive an
error stating: Error 25154. Failed to execute SQL script. Error Code
-2147217900 (the specified option 'clr enabled' is not supported by this
edition of SQL server and cannot be changed using sp_configure.).

All the pre-requisites are installed so why am I getting this error?

What version of SQL are you trying to install OpsMgr on?

Also, make sure you have permissions to the SQL database.

Let me know.

I am getting the same error. I had sql express loaded, but i uninstalled and
installed sql 2005 sp2. I am trying to install this on a virtual server so i
can test and learn the SCOM. If you have any suggestions, please let me
know. I pass all of the requirements when i run the check utility.
Thanks,
Chuck Welch

I found my error. I was going with defaults and didnt notice that the
install was chooseing server\sql##SSEE by default. One would think that
since ssee was uninstalled that this wouldnt be an option, but apparently
uninstall doesnt really mean uninstall. I changed the database option to
servname and the install completed.

Thanks for your post Chuck. This was also my issue, and the information you provided helped me fix it.
