Audit Collection and Reporting Services

Hi,
we have deployed OM on 3 servers as follows:
Server1: Holds the Operations manager console and ACS
Server2: Holds the Operations manager DB, Data warehouse and Reporting
services
Server3: Holds the ACS database and is outside the domain.

the problem is i cannot make the report server contact get data from server
3, though it's IP is added in the HOSTS file of server1 and server2. any
changes should i make? like on the DB AUDIT data source?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Solution:

Use the local admin of the ACS DB server and use it to connect to the "DB
AUDIT" datasource.
