Hi, I recently upgrade from W Vista Home Premium 64b to W 7 Home Premium 64b
and mu One Note would not anymore find results for any performed searches;
does anyone know how to fix this? I already run Office 2007 diagnostics but
the problem wasn't fixed. All the previous information is in there but the
program's search mechanism does not perform.

Did you check the options for Indexing?

P.S. BTW: A fine tool for minitoting the status if the Index is "Indexer
Status Gadget"

I have exactly the same problem, the only difference being that I upgraded
from Vista Ultimate 64-bt to Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Craig Harlan

I did re-index (Control Panel > Indexing Options) but it hasn't made any
difference.

Are you sure that ON is included in the locations to be indexed?

Wiping the OneNote cache should re-trigger ON indexing. Cache is at
%userprofile%\appdata\local\microsoft\onenote\12.0. Fully sync your OneNote
files, exit OneNote, wipe the cache, open OneNote again. That should do it.

I have checked all the boxes but there is no ON option.

I'm wondering if the OneNote's data files are inaccessible in some way. Do
permissions have to be given, or the files have to be shared or some such
thing?

Thank you again for any help you might be able to provide.

The Sync options are all grayed out. Is that part of the larger problem?
