I've recently upgraded to OneNote 2007 trial version. Unfortunately, I am
still having the problem.
Does anybody know how I can get the Paste Options button to appear again?
Thanks,

OneNote has a registry key to control the whether or not Paste Options
appears when pasting:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\OneNote\Options
\Other\PasteOoui = 1 for ON or 0 for OFF
However, this value is overridden by the Office Common settings!
(Stupid, right? Specific settings should override Common settings,
not the other way around) Here's how to turn Paste Options on (for
all Office products, unfortunately):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common\General
\PasteOptions = 1 for ON or 0 for OFF
I agree with a few other posts requesting that Microsoft should just
have a Paste Options feature like all other standard Office products

I'm on OneNote 2007, and there is still (inexplicably) no "paste special" option. Grrrrr.....

But the only place I NEED that option is in OneNote, since MS doesn't give me a "paste special" option in OneNote!
Ugh. Still stupid, frustrating, counter-intuitive, and time-wasting.
