Insert files as printouts disappeared

The option to insert files and printouts is now gray on my menu, but it used
to work. I also cannot send the document to onenote, say from poowerpoint,
using the printout method. I have all 2007 versions. What can I do to
insert files as printouts in onenote?

I used to be able to insert files as printouts, but now the option appears
gray. I also cannot go the other way around through another program, say
powerpoint, using the printout method that way. I have all 2007 versions.

I can no longer insert files as printouts into OneNote, using the menu, or
send to OneNote, or drag and drop. I have vista home edition, and miscrosoft
office 2007. This is a really important function, how can i get it to work
again?

I am having the same problem. I was using my "print to one note today" I ran
updates on my computer and now the option to "print to one note" is
completely missing. What am I supposed to do if I have run the diagnostic
checks, and updated my computer? I use my one note for my Masters level
classes I really don't like how much I spent on my computer and now I can use
this program!

AFAICS the disappearing of the "Send to OneNote" printer is the most
frequently appearing bug.
Masses of folks have been bitten by it (Me too recently for the first
time on years).

It may be easy to cure the problem, it may take several steps.

Start with the KB-article >> The "Send To OneNote 2007" printer is
missing in the Print dialog box in a 2007 Office program <<

If this should not help, pls come back reporting on your experience
(errors etc.)

Thanks so much for these links...but I tried both methods and neither worked.
When I installed the generic printer the box to check "send printer to one
note" was not there. Can you please advise further?

Windows charges $50 to help. I too am a student and frustrated.

The only chance I see would be to uninstall ON (even better: all of
Office) and then re-install it.
Fir removing all reminders you may use "Cleanse Uninstaller" [1]

As to my experience this would mean to spend money in vain, anyway.
You'd hardly get mire info than what is said in the KB-article
