Setup:
OneNote 2007
Windows Vista Ultimate

Steps to Repro:
Make a new page in Unfiled Notes
Right-click on it
Click "Delete"
Close OneNote
Start OneNote
Go to Unfiled Notes

Problem:
The deleted page shows up.

How much time are you giving it between the delete step and the close
OneNote step?

I'm wondering if perhaps OneNote isn't managing to write the deletion
from your cache to your stored version of the section. Does it only
happen in Unfiled notes - what if you delete something from another
notebook or section?

Really strange. Never had this and can not reproduce the situation.

Is "Unfiled Notes" a shared file and used on another computer?
Are you using a USB stick for storing and synching the notebooks?

Apart: Did you install the Office SP2 (Windows update last week)?

Things to try:
a) Run Office Diagnostics (from the Help menu)
b) Run a Repair of OneNote (from Control Panel | Add or Remove Software
[XP] /Programs and Functions [Vista]).

If this does not cure the problem, you may post a bug report in
"Connect", the place for submitting suggestions and bug reports to the
