When i go to type in OneNote it will not let me, almost like it is in read
only. Please help, i have class tomorrow again!
Make a note of the last date they were modified. Hopefully they contain
most, if not all, of your notes. Just copy the files to another area on your
C: drive or to a flash drive.
Then go to the Control Panel, "Add/Change Programs" and do a complete
uninstall of your OneNote program. Try reinstalling again. Be sure to close
all of your open programs before doing a re-install (as many as possible).
Make sure the reinstall completes successfully and then reboot your computer.
If that doesn't work, you'll need to provide more information about your
configuration.

You should also make a copy of the Notebook files under
"C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\OneNote Notebooks" (OR
wherever you have your notebooks saved.)
Then after you reinstall, just try accessing the notebooks as usual. If you
can't, and you feel that the files from the "backup" folder have most of your
information in them, copy them to the working folder (above) and try
accessing them again.
