Actually, Chris, he does have a point here. I am spoiled with having a
dual monitor setup but not everyone can do that. Having two separate
OneNote windows open with two sets of toolbars, menu bars, title bars,
section tabs, page tabs, and status bars doesn't leave much room for
working on a standard 17" monitor. Having a truly split window with only
one set of all those things being shared between the two halves would be
pretty handy, especially on Tablet PC's where the screen space is really
limited. You could just have the tabs reflect whichever half was
currently active as indicated by the location of the cursor.
In keeping with the note taking purpose of OneNote, I think this would be
useful for note taking. The user could keep one page like the syllabus
available for reference while taking notes on another without having to
switch back and forth.
