Is anyone else having problems with Microsoft AutoUpdate v3.5 crashing in mac OS?

Hello.
Since yesterday's evening PST, I have been having crashes when MS AU
checks for updates in my work's 15" MBP (Retina; mid-2015)'s mac OS
Sierra v10.12.1. I even tried rebooting and installing the (lat/new)est
Silverlight, safe mode, and a new administrator account but it still
crashes. Why was it fine last week until yesterday? :( AU did not crash
in the past like on Friday. http://pastebin.com/raw/jc02YYig for its
crash dump details in safe mode with a new administrator account.

Weird! I just noticed AU is different, showing v3.8.1, no more crashes,
and offering me updates. I don't even have AU to update in the
background. Weird! :/
