How do I tweak views in Office XP?

I have Office XP installed in Windows 2000 and I really like to know if
I could make cosmetic changes to "Normal" listed under views in the
toolbar.
As it is right now, documents will align themselves to the left of the
window (and ultimately the screen when the window is maximized) giving
the user a lopsided view. Is there any to tweak Office XP so that the
document is always centered in the window on par with the "print layout"
view?
