Outlook doesn't support it directly, but there is a hack for reading Hotmail
messages: http://www.slipstick.com/config/ol2000hotmail.htm.

Outlook 2000 does not support Hotmail the same way as Outlook Express.
However, you can use Pop3Hot <http://pop3hot.com> to send and receive
Hotmail with Outlook (any version):

The Pop3Hot - eMail transfer agent is an innovative new email solution
which allows you to integrate your existing MSN Hotmail® account with
Outlook, Eudora, Netscape Messenger or any other POP3-compatible eMail
client.

Highlights of the latest release:
- Works with Hotmail (@hotmail.com) and MSN (@msn.com) accounts.

- Native support for receiving and sending messages.
A 3rd party SMTP server is no longer required.

- Full support for multiple Hotmail accounts from all eMail apps.

- Configurable TCP/IP ports. Pop3Hot can now co-exist with
personal firewall and virus protection software.
