The reason I ask this is that when you set the page to landscape it
prints the bottom of the page first. Evry other version always prints
the left margin as the top of the page in landscape, but Word 2002
does the reverse, it prints the left margin in potrait as the bottom
of the page in landscape. Make sense??
This is such a pian as the bottom of the page is a non-printable area
for the printer.
HELP
Did you use File=>Page Setup to set a landscape
page? If so, then the rotation should be to the
right, but it could be printer driver specific.
If you used Format=>Text Direction to
rotate text in a table or text box you can choose
the direction (bottom to top or top to bottom)
of the text.
In a test document with landscape and portrait
pages if you use Insert=>Page Numbers
and select bottom right then print the pages
that will show where Word thinks the 'bottom' of
the page is.
FWIW, for Word specific questions you may want
to post in the Word newsgroups on news://msnews.microsoft.com
In this case,

If accessing the newsgroups through a browser the
Word groups are available through the Office community

I believe it's a problem with the XP driver for the Deskjet.
I have a Laserjet 4L and it works as it should in XP, but the Deskjet doesn't.
No matter what I do to the page set-up it still doesn't work the way it used to.
