Hi,

I just want to know what do you mean by Office Developer?

I know Excel VBA but I not sure who will you call an office developer.

Generally, someone who uses VBA (or another language) to automate Excel
or any of the other Office applications. Or uses these applications to
automate other programs or tasks.

If you write code and your code somehow involves one or more of the
Office apps, you'd be considered an Office Developer.

"Office Developer" in the context I think you are asking about allows the
use of a .NET Framework SDK to develop managed code that runs inside the
Office application or to stand alone to read and write its files and so on.
The "automation" using the VBA macro language that has been supported for so
many years is not comparable to what can be done using the .NET SDK.

Even I was just surprised to observe the dumb @sses do not have a Office
Developer Center link on the office.microsoft.com homepage but using that
page to search on developer produces this which you should spend time with
