Last night, I downloaded the very latest Office updates from Microsoft's web
site. Now when I try to run my VBA module in Outlook, I get a message that
state this: "The macros in this project are disabled. Please refer to the
online help or documentation of the host application to determine how to
enable macros." I found nothing in the help topics. I even searched on
"enable macros Outlook 2002" on msdn.microsoft.com, but found nothing
pertinent.

In Outlook, I selected Tools->Macro->Security... and chose the lowest
security level. I still get the same message. I even added my own digital
certifcate to the project and I still get the same error. It seems as
though the latest update from Microsoft just simply shuts down any/all
macros, and I have yet to learn or figure a way around the limitation. Does
anyone have any thoughts regarding this matter. It seems with each new
service pack or patch Microsoft issues, the capabilities of their software
get less and less. It's frustrating that a legitimate user with a
legitimate purpose can't do what the software is (WAS) capable of doing!
