Scenario: New computers running WinXP Pro & MS Office 2007 have been
integrated into the office.

All other stations are WinXP Pro & MS Office 2003/XP

Problem: Users (this problem has happened on MANY different computers
in different offices, with different files to different users) go to
open a Powerpoint document on our file server that was created in
Office 2003/XP via Powerpoint 2007 and it immediately goes into
compatibility mode and skews everything in the document.

the master template is offset, font sizes change, color schemes are
thrown out, and everything throughout the document is shifted.

Have contacted Microsoft, and they claim a.) it's not our problem and
b.) since we did not directly sell you the software (it came via Dell,
loaded onto the machines) we don't care.

This is severely impacting our business. And has happened widespread
and on so many different machines that include MS Office 2007 that
it's starting to be a major problem. Yes, the 2003 machines have been
patched with the compatibility patch. But that is not our issue.

And one would hope that NEW software would be able to accurately open
documents created by previous versions of the same software....but
this is not the case for us.

Please, please please please, if anyone has any information or
suggestions. It would be ever so greatly appreciated.
