Hi There,

I have an on-line help document that I need to print but it is already an
XPS document.
When I press the 'print' button, the only options to print is to choose the
printer 'Microsoft XPS Document Writer'.

Once you have clicked ok on the Printer screen, you get taken to an option
to 'Save the file as'.
I then select where I want the file saved but I only have the option to save
the doc as an XPS doc.
I click Save and then... nothing!

I go to the file where I have saved the doc (about a million times now) and
I can't find it - it just does not show up!
I have both a 'convert to PDF or XPS' application and an 'XPS Viewer'
installed on my machine but I still can't find the saved document.
Does anybody have any suggestions on how to save it? or can you please tell
me where I am going wrong? because I need to print out the document and
copying and pasting into word is taking forever as it never copies across the
pictures.
There must be a better way of doing this.

Hoping to hear from somebody as even MS help is useless in answering my
question.

Have you tried opening the .xps in the XPS Viewer, then printing it from
there?

The "Microsoft XPS Document Writer" is there to let you /generate/ a
.xps format file from an application, not to /print the contents of/ a
.xps file on a printer.
