I'm using Win2k Pro clients on a Novell network, and Office97. Since the
only way to get Win2k working properly with the network is to create user
connections on-the-fly, which are then deleted when the user logs out. Any
user settings made to Office97 are erased from client machine when a user
logs out. Everything from file locations, to UI layout, to the custom
shortcut bars.
So, what I'm stuck with are the MS preset user settings each time an Office
app is used. *sigh*
Is there any way to make Office97 use a single set of user settings
everytime, regardless of who logs into the Win2k client, WITHOUT having the
user login as a Win2k administrator? This wasn't a problem with Win9x
machines, but Win2k seems to be very picky.
