Office Version 7.0b - Where can I get it?

You can get it from Microsoft. They send you a whole new CD for shipping
costs only. Sorry I don't have the exact number to call. Only some of the
programs will be updated to the "b" version; others only update to the "a"
version. HTH!

I just tried that and Microsoft says there is no Office97 patch or upgrade
or new version. What's up?

Dan,

Office 7.0b is the latest version of Office 95 NOT Office 97. The products
in Office 97 are version 8.0

FWIW: Office 97 is version 8.0, version 7.0 is Office 95...

You may want to be certain the person on the phone knows exactly which
version you are asking for...
