I despise that shortcut toolbar in Office 2002 -- although I have it set to
auto-hide, it ALWAYS seems to peek out just in time to be in my way. Is
there any possible way to get rid of the thing entirely? I don't need it
with the Show Desktop on my taskbar, and I've poked around on
support.microsoft.com and have come up empty so far.

Any advice would be MOST appreciated. I'm running WinXP Home, if that
