All installation files are stored by Digital River, who also run
Microsoft's online store.

You'll find the direct download links for Office 2007 (all editions,
all languages) here:
http://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/51-office-2007-direct-download-links

And the same for Office 2010:
http://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/18-office-2010-direct-download-links

Just to clarify: You'll need a product key to activate these
downloads.

Can I enter my Volume License Keys to activate these products?

I have the Media for Office 2010 Professional Plus and Windows 7
Professional but this downloads are latest with SP1 where appropriate.
It would be nice to have the full package which works with my existing
product keys.

Thanks.

I wouldn't touch them. They might be tampered? :(

I guess I could compare the files with what I have to see if any files
have been interfered with.

No, sorry, VL keys are not possible. Digtal River only provides oem
and retail versions.

Windows 7 with SP1 is available:

http://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/14-windows-7-direct-download-links

Same restriction applies here: only oem and retail keys accepted.

Do you know someone with a Technet or MSDN subscription? Maybe you
could ask them to download the VL edition for you.

Compare checksums of the downloads with the ones provided by Microsoft
to verify integrity of files:

https://technet.microsoft.com/subscriptions/securedownloads/default.aspx

So you can be sure to receive clean downloads.

I agree there quite a risk to get malware infections when downloading
random stuff, especially if you go for torrents. However, Digital
River is hardly a random source. You'd get most products you purchase
from the Microsoft Store delivered by DR, so unless DR itself becomes
a victim of hacking, the downloads are safe.
