after opening an excel file an error message (translated
from germin into english) appears: "File error: data may
probably be lost."
After clicking away the message all my hyperlinks are
gone. Excel does even not accept entering new hyperlinks.
BTW: even Outlook does no longer react by clicking on a
link in the "Outlook today" view to open a specific folder.
It seems that all my office tools no longer accept
hyperlinks.
Any idea what's going on?
Thanks in advance
Björn
We need a little more information. What version of Office are you using and
what Service Release or Service Packs do you have installed? (Take a look
under Help/About).

sorry for waiting so long. I was in vacation (that
happens).
In the meanwhile I did a "FORMAT C:" and completely
reinstalled everything. I have been using Win 2000 (latest
SP), Office 2000 (latest SP).
Before I reinstalled everything I did the following (w/o
result as you can imagine)
- Removed Office
- Reinstalled Office
- Reinstalled Internet Explorer 6.0
- ...
Thank you for helping. Even real spacialists have had no
idea what has been going on.
Thanks
Björn
