Groove frozen after recieving a workspace invitation.

I am running Groove 2007 on a new laptop with Windows 7 Professional and the
Office 2010 beta. In recieving a Groove workspace invitation this machine
completely froze up requiring a hard boot and continues to freeze eveytime
Groove is opened. I have uninstalled/reinstalled Groove but the workspace
and the problem inviation message continued to appear after the reinstall
with the result that the machine continues to instantly freeze whenever
Groove is opened. Seeking comments re the cause of this problem and how can
it remedied.
