Updating Office 2003 to 2007

Operating system is Vista (w/Service Pack 2). When trying to upgrade from
Office Student and Teacher Edition 2003 to Office Home and Student 2007, I
get an error message during installation that says
"Error 1311. Source file not found: E:\PA561401.CAB. Verify that the file
exists and that you can access it"

I have no idea what this means. Does anyone understand it, or the nature of
the problem?

Uninstalling Office 2003, then installing Office 2007 anew worked fine.
