Office file corrupted problem

Hi!;

I'm one user of MS office. However sometimes I will be facing office document corrupted problem. Therefore when open this corrupted document will prompts me some error message and cannot open the document. Therefore I would like to know any way to recover the file that have been corrupted

I also have the same problems with MS office. I now need
to redo a complex MS-Excel worksheet with numerous macros
after only 1 1/2 years in use. I wish MS would address
this. Now I have to waste time recreating a worksheet
with no added value, basically copying. It is ridiculous,
maybe Linux offers a better product solution. I
definitely do not have this problem with SAS database,
which some files go back 10 years.

Please locate the section in Help labeled

"Recover the text from a damaged document"

And follow the instructions.

I believe the official method is refered to as Backup. Most people
subscribe to this method, some sooner than others.
