Unprotect word doc without password.

A former employee and apparently a bitter former employee, "PROTECTED" all
of her word documents that we must get into and make changes to. Is there
anyway to unprotect the file without knowing the password?

Hi Marc,

It depends on what type of protection you're referring to.
If it's a password protected/encrypted Word document then
they can be difficult/time consuming to reenter the locked
file. If it's a file you can open but it's locked for forms
you can open a new blank document and use Insert=>file
