The rest of the computers in my workgroup are running a
mixture of Win98, ME, and XP. They are also primarily
running Office 2000, however we recently upgraded the XP
computer to Office XP. Each computer on the network has
a hardcoded IP address provided by our ISP and are
connected to the internet through a switch. We all share
our C: drive with the rest of the workgroup.
I have tried to Repair Office (using "ReInstall) and I
have tried to Uninstall Office then reinstall it. Both
to no avail. I have made sure that the NetFolders
feature is installed (even though we are not using it)
just in case. If I can't find another answer I'm left
with 3 other options to fix this thing: 1) Unistall
Office, remove all entries from the registry and then
reinstall it. 2) fdisk and then rebuilt the entire
computer. 3) Upgrade to Office XP on this computer in
case the recent upgrade to Office XP on one of the other
computers is causing the problem (although I don't
understand why this computer would be having the problem
while the 2 others are not).
