Hi, when i use any of the office products the drop down
menus come out really slowly and notchy almost on one PC.
When i use a different PC the menus fly out straight away.
I have looked for setting to try and fix it but no luck so
far.
Thanks for any help in advance.
Murray.

How did you fix it? I have the same problem.

Hi Michael, open any office program and goto tools,
customize, then select the options tab and at the bottom
of that window there is an option for menu animation
select none. If doesn't work i'd suggest you do a virus
check.

Hi Michael,

As an additional note, if you are using Office XP then use "(System
default)" in the 'Menu Animations' list.

If the problem still occurs then you'll need to go to "Display" in
your Control Panel and change menu animations there. Where the option
is exactly depends on your OS. For example in WinXP you need to select
the Appearance tab and then click "Effects".
