After downloading the 1a service release my hard drive didn't have
enough room so the installation was aborted. I freed up some space and
went looking for the files. I could only come up with 2 registry
looking files in Windows temp in a sub folder (SR1a). One was about 27
megs and one was about 12 megs. These are not exe files. Are these the
actual update files, and if so, how do I restart the installation. The
"read me" seems to indicate that these are the 2 patches for disk 1 and
2. I am very confused. Would appreciate an email. Thanks.

Hi Barry,

Yes, those 'registry looking' named files are what downloaded. There should
also be a setup.exe in the \SR1patch temp folder, or right click on those files
to see what options are listed.

The number of final .MSP (patch) files that end up in your \Windows\Installer
(hidden) folder for CD1 can depend on which edition of Office 2000 you have
and what's installed (i.e. FP2000, Access 2000 runtime, etc).
