Works 8 and Office 2007 problem, how do I resolve

I installed the Beta version of Office 2007, big mistake. Now it's costing me
valuable time. Anyway, I've uninstalled Office Beta and I still can't get my
Works 8 to work properly. I've uninstalled and re-installed and I am still
getting the error 'Entry Point Not Found' with a reference to a .dll file
can't be found.

Can anyone help me, please?

I know this is a common problem, because I have found references to it all
over the internet. But, I haven't found a solution. If someone could please
point me in the right direction to getting my Works 8 back to working order I
would appreciate it.

Uninstall Works by clicking on Start | Control Panel | Add or
Remove Programs. Manually delete the Microsoft Works folder
(usually something like c:\Program Files\Microsoft Works).
Reinstall Works from your Works CD.

Thank you so much!! It worked great. I had also found a long complicated
procedure that I was afraid to try, because it was very technical and had to
go into a 'clean boot mode', whatever that is, I didn't even know. I knew
there had to be an easy fix. Thanks again!!

production use." Heed the warnings next time, to wit:

check with your IT department before downloading and installing
2007 Microsoft Office system Beta 2 on your computer at work.

This notice takes up about a quarter of the page, so you can't
say you didn't see it because it was in fine print.

I read the fine print. I learned my lesson. I thought I would try it out. I
had a new computer and didn't think that there would that major of problems
with it. I didn't really have any data to lose, because my computer was new.
What I did lose was valuable time. Maybe that should be posted in the fine
print. "You may lose lots of valuable time fixing your computer if it does
cause problems". *sarcasm* I figured as long as it's been out, most of the
bugs like that would have been worked out.
