Regarding Target Object of Smart Tag interface library

Hi,
This is regarding Smart Tag interface libraries provided by microsoft.

I am developing an application using Smart Tag libraries, this application
suggest synonyms for a given word and when user select the suggested synonym
, orignal word get replaced with the selected synonym word.
This functionallity works fine with Word & Excel but in Power Point 2007 it
does not behave as expected. It shows synonyms but when these synonyms are
selected ,orignal word should get replaced. In findings we have found that
"Target" object in ISmartTagAction_InvokeVerb method of Action class is null
when it is being called from Power Point 2007.
