I am trying to build a msi in order to deploy an XML Expansion Pack.
For the install phase, I use Word.XMLNamespaces.InstallManifest and
everything works fine.
However, I have not found any similar method to uninstall the manifest.
Right now, I workaround this by removing registry keys (the tree under
HK[CU|LM]\Software\Microsoft\Schema Library\[MySchemaURI]). I also remove
the directory of the solution to delete all the files that were downloaded
(e.g those that do not run from the server).
However it is very awkard and I wish (hope ...) that there is cleaner way
that I have overlooked.
Thanks for any help.

Thanks for posting. It is a pity that we still do not have a
"UninstallManifest" here. I hope that we will have one in the future
release.
According to the documentation, the files installed by the XML Expansion
Packs will go to the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Schemas\namespace\solution ID.
Related registry keys include the following:
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Schema Library\
I understand that it is quite inconvenient that we deal with these folders
or keys directly. If you need any assistance when authoring the Windows
Installer package, please feel free to post here.
