Outlook reads the default printer when it starts up and continues to use
that printer while the session is running, even if the default printer is
changed. You may be better off using Word as an intermediate in the printing
and using Word methods to set the printer to use for that print job. That's
what many of us do.

Ken,
I am having the same issue as you have mentioned. Even though, I am
programmatically changing the printer outlook still prints to the default
printer
Can you tell me how to integrate word methods within the outlook?

You don't integrate Word methods, but what you can do is either get a Word
document or template and populate it with the information and formatting you
want and then use Word code to set a printer for the print job. It's pure
Word automation.

If using WordMail you can get the WordEditor (document) and use Word
automation code on the Document object to print it that way.
