Newbie: Getting calendar appointment details of a user

Hi,

Is it possible to programmatically get calendar appointment details of an
Exchange user like meeting subject and location ? Could Outlook COM object be
used for that purpose or one needs to use MAPI directly ? Does the other user
need to share calendar information for this to work ?

A code sample would be of great help!
