Does anyone know if OCS will ever be ready for the iPhone?
If it is, can someone tell me what I need to do?

TIA,
Carlis

I think a better phrasing of this question is: will the iPhone ever be
ready for OCS?

Right now there's no native client for the iPhone (at least that I've
ever seen). And since the iPhone is not windows Mobile based, I'm pretty
sure Communicator Mobile won't work.

You might be able to use the iPhone browser and connect via Communicator
Web Access, but I've not tried it and do not know if it will work.

I have the same question as above. MSn and many other IM clients work very
well with iPhone. Just wondering if OCS will be added to the list. I would
assume that MS should be able to leverage what is in place for MSN - but,
that is just a guess. Would be a great feature for them to offer since there
are not a lot of windows mobile phones being sold these days.

Maybe. But at present, there's no COMO support for the iPhone.

It may be the case that the iPhone is popular, maybe even more popular
than WinMob phones (don't have the stats handy to check), but
Communicator is still only supported under Windows Mobile. I am not
aware of any plans to the contrary.

WebMessenger offers a client that allows for OCS on the iPhone/Touch but it
requires an additional server between your clients and the OCS server. The
client is available for download in the AppStore

There's and App called iDialog that does this. I use it and it works nicely.

Sounded like a good idea so I tried it. Can't get it to connect to the
Microsoft Online environment.

It seams iDialogPro requires support and licensing from you company's IT department. Both versions of iDialog rely on CWA and your company's authentication methods might not work. Do as I did and reach out to your IT department before you waste your time.
