For security reason, our company has disable mapi/outlook access to exchange
server.
We want to launch ocs in our environment but no chat log make me crazy.
We have try to use pidgin to let user keep their own chat history, but
without file transfer make our user crazy.
i can use sdk/api call to let user keep the chat history in their pc
locally?

So why not just tell the users they can't save their chat history? For
security reasons. If they have a problem - tell them to kick the
security guys.

Alternatively why not consider Group Chat?

In our situation, we'll assume:
Email's is use for official/secure purpose.
Chat is for less imporatant msg. (And they use skype before, already use
chat log, hard to tell them not to use it!)

You could try the Instant Archive Viewer for OCS.
Which allow a server based, secure way for users to view their own conversations as well as full archive access for Admins and managers accross the entire company.
