So why not just tell the users they can't save their chat history? For
security reasons. If they have a problem - tell them to kick the
security guys.
Alternatively why not consider Group Chat?

In our situation, we'll assume:
Email's is use for official/secure purpose.
Chat is for less imporatant msg. (And they use skype before, already use
chat log, hard to tell them not to use it!)
