Access integration with Source Safe

I am with a group using Source Safe integrated with MS Access. Recently we
began experiencing ,I hesitate to say corruption issues, but some definite
problems. We've noticed that if we have all 700 of our tables in (some linked
oracle, linked Access, and some Local) that whenever we add a new object to
source control the mdb crashes and sends the error message to microsoft.
Also, the same behavior occurs if we close the mdb with all the tables in the
container. However, if we delete one group of table, either Oracle or Access,
the mdb performs normally. The mdb compiles fine.

I hoping someone can help me with a few questions I have.
1: Is there a limit to the number of object that can be under Source
control while integrated with Access.
2: Are there versioning issues with Source Safe? We are using 6.0 and 6.0c.

3: Does anyone have a code example of how to Get Latest Version.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
