I am using PDC Whidbey version.
I have done all my objectspaces code, but I have a problem in viewing my
object in Datagrid.
Now, the question is:
How can I add new object into my datagrid and get the object of the selected
cell.
For example: In my datagrid there is a list of studentID. Then, How can I
retrieve the studentID of the selected cell only.
student ID
23
45
21
98
So,when I click the cell contains '98' as its value, I want to get pop-up
(messagebox) written '98'. How can I do this?(in retrieving the object)
Hopefully to get any comments, suggestions as soon as possible?
thank you
Nizar
You use ObjectSpaces.
Which - is not going to be available to you in a better version or one that
is linked against later versions of the .NET framework for a LONG time.
Just in case you did not know: ObjectSpaces as O/R mapper was cancelled on
the weekend by Microsoft. So, basically: It is no more. :-)

With all respect, this is pretty indiomatic to say.
* It has been "delayed" for about two years.
* It has been announced that the API would again be SUBSTANTIALLY to TOTALLY
different.
* It is announced it will be part of the WinFS subsystem, thus at least only
available with longhorn.
For 99.99% of the people here this is identical with a cancellation of
ObjectSpaces as they know it and doing what they expect it to do.
What you come up with in 3+ years is (if it is part of WinFS) not an O/R
mapper in the classical sense, is not relevant for any of the people
searching for one at the moment and has, according to your own announcement,
nothing more in common with ObjectSpaces than the name.
I DO call this a cancellation. Yes, a cancellation that also gives new life
to it in some distant future, but a cancellation for anyone who actually
wnated to do anything with ObjectSpaces.
;)
