It's funny because he states that it's a scam site right in the request
for help. These guys are getting lazy. They used to at least attempt to
disguise their attempts.

Maybe he's trying to save bandwidth, and only wants the really naive
users to visit?

You know, they were probably sitting around saying "you know, those people
are so dumb that they'd click on the link even if you told them up-front
that it was a malicious site." And one of them says, "OK, I'll spam the MS
newsgroups and see how many of those yoyos we can pull in."

Somebody's logging and tabulating the responses right now. The answer to
that question is something that I'd rather not know.

I did not click on it Milly. It was posted to all foreign sites also in their native language and Microsoft Hungary put out the warning on their Hungarian newsgroup which I transmitted along .
